About Café Blasón

Café Blasón is one of those places in Oaxaca that instantly feels warm and welcoming the moment you step inside. Located at Miguel Hidalgo 115 in the heart of Centro, this cozy cafe blends the relaxed atmosphere of a neighborhood coffee spot with the energy of a busy local hangout. The smell of freshly brewed coffee drifts through the space, creating the kind of environment where people naturally slow down, chat with friends, or settle into a quiet corner for a peaceful break. Because of its central location in Oaxaca de Juárez, Café Blasón often attracts both locals and travelers looking for a comfortable cafe experience without anything feeling overly formal or rushed.

What makes Café Blasón stand out is its simple but inviting approach to food and drinks. Coffee clearly takes center stage here, and it is easy to see why regular visitors keep coming back. Whether someone wants a strong morning espresso, a smooth afternoon coffee, or just a quick drink while exploring the city center, the cafe delivers that relaxed everyday charm people search for in Oaxaca. At the same time, the menu also works well for anyone needing a quick bite during a busy day. The atmosphere stays casual and easygoing, which makes dine-in visits feel comfortable even during busier hours.

Another nice detail about Café Blasón is the flexibility it offers. Some guests prefer to sit down and enjoy the cafe vibe, while others stop by for takeout before continuing their day around Centro. Delivery and onsite services also make the place convenient for different routines and schedules. The combination of good coffee, approachable service, and a laid-back setting gives Café Blasón a natural appeal that fits perfectly with the creative and cultural energy Oaxaca is known for.

My go to coffee shop, their latte is the best in Oaxaca and at 40 its a great price. Good service, bathroom, nice bakery options, look no more. And note there’s 3 of them in the city

Very good coffee for surprisingly low price in a small coffee shop, there are just 3 tables in here. Place is popular with locals as well. Grab yourself a lemon tart too, it’s not on the display

This tiny outpost of the Blasón chain in Jalatlaco is a short but sweet experience with a nice bathroom (love the sink) good cheap hot and cold coffee drinks and some yummy petite cookies.
